These Terms govern your use of PXLTool. Please read carefully before using the service.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the free online design tool service ("Service") provided by the operator of PXLTool ("Operator") at the domain pxltool.com. They define the conditions of use, the rights and obligations of users and the Operator, and related matters.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Site" means the website operated by the Operator at the domain pxltool.com and related URLs.
  2. "Service" means the 25+ online tools provided via the Site relating to color, image, typography, graphic, and web/SNS.
  3. "User" means anyone who accesses the Site and uses the Service.
  4. "Content" means any text, image, design, code, or logo posted on the Site.
  5. "Output" means any results generated by users using the Service (e.g., color palettes, converted images, CSS code, thumbnails).

Article 3 (Effect & Changes)

  1. These Terms take effect from the moment they are posted on the Site.
  2. The Operator may modify these Terms within applicable law, with at least 7 days' notice on this page before the effective date.
  3. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the modified Terms is deemed acceptance.

Article 4 (Provision of Service)

  1. The Service is provided free of charge without sign-up; Users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms upon accessing the Service.
  2. The Service is provided 24/7. The Service may be temporarily suspended due to maintenance, server issues, or force majeure.
  3. The Operator may change the Service content, UI, or tool list, or discontinue some tools without prior notice.
  4. Some tools rely on third-party open-source libraries (JsBarcode, QRCode.js, Lucide Icons, etc.); each follows its own license.

Article 5 (User Obligations)

  1. Users shall comply with applicable laws, these Terms, and any notices posted on the Site, and shall not engage in any of the following:
    • Generating abnormally excessive requests via automated scripts, bots, or scrapers
    • Activities that disrupt the stable operation of the Site or cause server overload
    • Unauthorized duplication of the Site's source code, design, or content to build similar sites
    • Using the Service to create content that infringes the copyrights, portrait rights, or personal information of others
    • Creating illegal information, obscene material, violent or hateful content, or other illegal/harmful content
    • Manipulating ads on the Site through self-clicks, induced clicks, or bot clicks (violation of Google AdSense policy)
    • Infringing the intellectual property of the Operator or third parties, or defaming reputation
  2. Users who violate these obligations may have their access blocked without prior notice; civil and criminal liability may be pursued.

Article 6 (Intellectual Property)

  1. The copyright and IP rights to the design, code, logos, icons, and content posted on the Site belong to the Operator or rightful holders.
  2. Users may not copy, distribute, publish, broadcast, or create derivative works of the Site's content without the Operator's prior written consent.
  3. Output generated by Users (color palettes, image files, CSS code, etc.) belongs to the Users and may be used freely for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
  4. Third-party libraries provided in some tools (Lucide Icons, Material Design Colors, Tailwind Colors, Google Fonts, etc.) follow their respective licenses (ISC, Apache 2.0, MIT, SIL OFL). Pantone is a registered trademark of Pantone LLC; the Pantone-related tool provides approximate reference values only.

Article 7 (Advertising)

  1. The Operator may display ads on the Site via Google AdSense and other ad networks to cover operating costs.
  2. Responsibility for advertised content and linked pages lies with the respective advertiser. The Operator is not liable for any losses arising from transactions between advertisers and Users.
  3. Privacy related to advertising is described separately in the Privacy Policy.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Service and Outputs are provided "AS-IS". The Operator does not warrant:
    • Fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness
    • Commercial usability of Outputs
    • Print accuracy of CMYK/Pantone approximate conversions (not ICC-profile based)
    • Legal certification of color contrast / accessibility check results
  2. Users are responsible for verifying Outputs before use. For purposes where accuracy is critical (commercial print, legal documents, medical info), additional professional review is required.
  3. The Operator is not liable for service interruption, errors, or damages caused by:
    • Force majeure (natural disasters, power outages, telecom failures)
    • Issues due to user fault (browser settings, network)
    • Outages of third-party libraries, CDNs, cloud services
    • Policy changes by Google AdSense / Google Analytics / other third parties
    • Direct/indirect damages from inappropriate use of Outputs by Users
  4. The Operator does not pre-review or warrant the content, meaning, or legality of Outputs created by Users; third-party rights violations are the responsibility of the relevant User.

Article 9 (Service Suspension)

  1. The Operator may suspend all or part of the Service without prior notice in the following cases:
    • Service maintenance, repairs, or inspections
    • Replacement or expansion of server equipment
    • Operational difficulties due to changes in business environment
    • Force majeure
  2. The Operator endeavors to provide advance notice; if not possible, post-event notice.

Article 10 (Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction)

  1. The interpretation of these Terms and disputes between Users and the Operator shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Disputes shall be resolved through amicable consultation; if unresolved, suit shall be brought in the court with jurisdiction under Korean Civil Procedure Act.
  3. For overseas Users, Korean law applies as the governing law, and the Seoul Central District Court shall be the court of first instance with exclusive jurisdiction.

Article 11 (Privacy Protection)

The Operator endeavors to protect User privacy in accordance with applicable laws. Details are provided in the separate Privacy Policy.
