Email header standards

(1) 600 px wide is the safe zone across most clients; 1200 px for wide displays. (2) 2× resolution for retina. (3) Text 16–24 px reads on mobile. (4) Logo + title + one-line subtitle is the standard structure. CTA buttons go in the email body separately.

FAQ

Outlook breaks it?

Outlook doesn't support some gradients/filters. The flattened PNG renders consistently across all clients.

Add alt text?

Add `<img alt="...">` in the email HTML. Shown when images are blocked.

Dark-mode handling?

Pick colors that work on both light and dark backgrounds. Gradients usually look fine.
