Sketch algorithm

Same as Photoshop's pencil-sketch technique: (1) grayscale → (2) invert colors → (3) Gaussian blur → (4) "Color Dodge" blend. These 4 steps emphasize brightness changes, naturally extracting pencil-like outlines. Unlike cross-hatch, continuous gray tones are preserved.

FAQ

vs cross-hatch?

cross-hatch uses line density for tone; sketch uses continuous gray for soft hand-drawn look.

Too blurry?

Lower blur to 1–2 and raise edge to 70–80.

Blueprint effect?

Use the "Blueprint" preset — blue paper with white lines.
