What each meta tag does

title (50–60 chars) is the biggest CTR factor in search; description (120–160 chars) is the preview text. OG tags drive Facebook, KakaoTalk, LinkedIn share cards; Twitter Card is Twitter/X-specific. canonical deduplicates URLs so SEO juice isn't split across copies.

FAQ

Where do I upload the OG image?

Put it under your domain's image directory (e.g., /images/og.png) and reference it with an absolute HTTPS URL. External hosting works too but self-hosted is more reliable.

Why doesn't Facebook show my new image?

FB caches hard. Use developers.facebook.com/tools/debug and click "Scrape Again".

What if my title is too long?

Google truncates at about 50–60 chars or 600px. Put key terms in the first 30 chars. The tool shows length in real time.

What is WebSite JSON-LD?

Structured data that helps Google understand your site. If you have a site search box, Google can show a sitelinks search box in results.
