How Google truncates SERP entries
Google truncates by pixel width. Title ≈ 600px (50–60 Latin chars), description ≈ 920px (120–160 Latin chars) is safe. CJK characters are wider, so the same char count truncates earlier. Mobile is narrower so titles often wrap to 2–3 lines.
FAQ
Will my SERP look exactly like this?
Close, but Google may rewrite the description based on the search query, so actual results vary.
Why does mobile look narrower?
Mobile SERP is narrower so titles wrap to 2–3 lines and descriptions to 4–5. This tool uses a 380px iPhone width.
How does the favicon show?
Favicons appear in mobile SERP. 16×16 or 32×32 SVG/PNG is recommended. Without a URL, a default icon shows.
What about rich snippets (stars, price)?
Currently only basic SERP is shown. Rich snippets require precise JSON-LD structured data.
