Trim vs Crop?

Crop is user-specified region cutting; Trim is auto-detected border removal. Same as Photoshop's Image > Trim or GIMP's Zealous Crop. Perfect for logos / icons when you want to keep only the actual content. This tool analyzes RGBA pixel-by-pixel.

FAQ

Does it work with JPG?

Yes. JPG has no transparency, so trim by white / black / custom color only.

Result doesn't trim well.

JPG compression noise may have near-matching pixels at edges. Raise tolerance to 10โ€“30.

Partial transparency handling?

Yes, RGBA alpha channel is analyzed directly. Only fully transparent (alpha=0) pixels get cut.

Free?
